Hello My Church Family,
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)
As we begin, let’s start with prayer. Let’s pray throughout the duration of the COVID-19 outbreak. Public health emergencies like the COVID-19 can cause fear and anxiety. Prepare, but don’t panic. This passage reminds us that, in every situation, our prayers ground us in God’s peace. We step forward with faith: God is with us as we seek protection and discern how best to love our neighbors.
With the ever present development of the COVID-19 here in our community we have taken several steps to adhere to and put safety first for each and every one of you. The Leadership team met again March 19th and have developed and implemented the following safety measures at this time.
First and we consider most importantly, we wish to create a guilt free decision for each one of you as you make your decisions on how to best to protect you and your family. We do however encourage our Elderly and those with compromised immune systems to stay at home and allow us to serve you.
We have decided to continue Facebook live on www.mychurchohio.com and livestream our Sunday morning praise and worship service with God’s word being delivered. This livestream will take place at 11:00 a.m.
We ARE NOT CLOSED an invite you to join us Sunday at 10:00 a.m. Adult Sunday school as well for our 11:00 a.m. Worship service, if you wish. However, if you do wish to attend, we ask that you practice the social distancing, no contact, and sanitizing guidelines put in place for all who chose to attend.
All children who are brought to church will have their temperature checked before entering and will set up in the gym with social distancing in place for them from start to finish. Kids staff and helpers will follow all rules put in place to ensure safety first for all children.
All food preparation will be done and served to go and this includes after church as well as Harvest meals for the less fortunate in our community. We will be developing a Zoom Video Communications remote conferencing Prayer and Helps team that you will be invited to join and request prayer and help for whatever your needs may be. Email me at sim@changinglivesnow.org if you wish to be informed and linked.
